I have a full diploma in personal training, continuing my education throughout the years gaining qualifications in running biomechanics, pre and post natal exercise, CrossFit coaching, Spin cycle, functional training. I regularly attend orthopaedic clinics and surgeries, constantly striving to deliver the highest training standards possible I can through continued learning and understanding of the body.

I started my career at the Kings School Canterbury at the age of 16 first working as a lifeguard and then progressing to Duty manager, at 18 I completed my full diploma in personal training and began working in the gym. At 21 I became self employed providing in home personal training, circuit classes and became the strength and conditioning coach for national swim team Canterbury swim club. By age 25 I wanted a bigger challenge and moved to London to work for Nuffield Health gym in Paddington, quickly becoming the busiest trainer across the country. I trained well known A-list celebrities, a waiting list for personal training plus my Spin classes were regularly sold out. I have continued my education by attending as many seminars and top up courses as possible. I then left Nuffield in 2013 to set up Jon Holmans Fitness and now train clients across London, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire.

I have competed to a high level in 3 sports and have regularly played many other sports in my spare time. My first 2 loves were football and cricket and I progressed to have coaching from Chelsea FC and Kent County Cricket Club respectively as a junior. I then ran his first 10k race at 15 and was instantly hooked on athletics, I went on to compete for the county of Kent plus gaining national standard times over long distance and cross country. I have personal best times for 10k 31:37, Half Marathon 70:05 and 2:43 for the Marathon. I’m a dedicated Husband and Father of 2 amazing boys and avid sport watcher.
